This was kind of an image i got in my head while listening to "Tusen dråper regn" by Kaizers Orchestra.. which is a band you should check out even if you don't understand norwegian x)
The lyrics never say anything about a train.. but i still got the feel of it.. might have been the drums or something x)
yeah and my ofther ispiration, and color style-thingy came from me watching movies like the Priest, 300, Van Helsing and Jonah Hex ^^

I made this by having a adjustment layer above a black background with really high contrast and started painting with white. 'Cause of the adjustment layer this gave me very nice, sharp and metal-ish lines every time
at the top i had a layer set to color, and the animation was created with some layers of rain set to 'overlay' and some adjustment layers to make the light flicker and such ^^
