Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Thank you for letting people request art! Would you ever consider doing something of Jack and Ianto's "date" (the one we never see that is proposed in s2e1 of Torchwood)? If that bores you, another favorite pairing of mine is Methos and Duncan from Highlander. Not sure you're familiar with them, but the most "fan famous" scene is from Comes a Horseman in season 5. I don't want to ramble, so I'll hush now.

You did such a magnificent job with Kili from "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," I was wondering if perhaps you might do a bit of a rendition of Bofur? From a character standpoint, I heartily enjoyed just how carefree he was, yet he watched out for Bilbo. He wasn't quite as much trouble as the younger set of Kili and Fili, but there was certainly a seasoned mischief about him. I could make some suggestions, but I want to leave all the creative thoughts in your ball-court as it were; as a writer, I enjoy and understand a certain amount of freedom - as a returned college student, I understand the time limitations. My many thanks for your consideration, and for the art you've done already.

Would you by any chance do a piece for an OTP from two roleplay blogs? My friend runs one of the characters and its her pride and joy so I just thought it would be a nice surprise for her. The two characters are going on a date to an art museum (their faceclaims are tom hiddleston as loki and kirsten dunst), and maybe you could do a piece of them together observing a painting or whatever. if you'll take it, then you could do whatever you feel like with the two of them. So, do you think you'd be interested in taking on the request? Your work is absolutely stunning and I don't think anyone else could pull something off greater than you
